in Switzerland to celebrate 2009

This is the last trip in my exchange year.

Just for the rest of Interrail  Pass, 5 days vocation and have a special beginning in 2009.

So, I wil be in Bern in Switzerland to celebrate 2009 New Year.

1/4 Basel(Switzerland)-Luxembourg

 

When I finish my last travelling, I will start to pack, buy something, say goodbye to my project and go home!!!

Fried rice noodles

Today I cooked fried rice noodles for children.

Of courese I also cooked others like shu shi and soup, but fried rice noodles is the title role.

Originally I only wished not scare children, but this time!! you knnow!!! EMPTY!!!

 

 

wu……I am so touched….Let me  laugh three times…HA! HA! HA!

Surely some children still don’t like it, but that’s ok. I am satisified enough!!

 

 

 

 

 

Hello from Basel(Schweiz)

Hello!!!

Wow…I want to say my trip this time is very different.

 

1.unpredictable trains

There are many strikes in south France recently, so most of trains don`t work.Therefore I must go to train station and decide where I will go on that day. This is the first time my schedule just for reference. I had even heard someone suicide laying on the train tracks. OMG!!! Becides now are chrismas holidays, the seats of train are full so that I have to change my travelling route and then I back to Schweiz. All in all, just one word`execting`!!

2.New friends

This time I met many people come from Taiwan, China, Hong Kong and Sigapore..we talked more and had much fun. Language is really important if we want to share each other.(My poor German and English!!wu…) Back to this topic,They shared with me many travelling guides, so I got much useful information and really had fun even I didn`t read anything. Thanks!!!

3.Fantastic sceneries

I went from German through Schweiz to south France. So I experienced from snowing to sunshine and from modern, old to original. I hadn`t felt this warm weather for a long time. It was comfortable like Taiwan. Oh!! but my sunshine and beach is gone. Besides, the Provence is really beautiful expecially the small villages. I like them and I think they will be more charming in sommer.

chrismas holidays

What? Will Pia travel again?

Ja ja, that’s right!

Although I had finished my travelling month ICJA gave me(**ICYE/ICJA is the organization for my voluntary&exchange),

LUCKILY!!! I also have chrismas holidays in my project. 

Before I really don’t know I can have these holidays,

so I will make good use of my last holidays and won’t waste them.

Therefore, I looked at the europe map , thought and started to plan.

Becuase I didn’t have enough time and was getting lazier, when I decided the route,

I only brought the Interrail Pass valid for trains around almost all europe and reserved the hotels.

I didn’t read any travelling guides….In fact I am not sure it will be ok or not,

But maybe I had visited too many churchs and castles, even only searched sights, 

I think I don’t have more feelings than before,

now I just want to walk and see around….really like a vocation…relax and enjoy…

 

This journey I will go to Switzerland, south France, Monaco and Belgium.

chrismas markets in Nürnburg

Now, an atmosphere of chrismas filled everywhere.

There are a lot of chrismas markets in every city or town.

Of courese in Osnabrück and some cities like Wien, Salzburg  and Bratislava…I had also visited.

But I had heard and read it is said there maybe the biggest and most famous chrismas markets in Nürnburg in the world.

Um…..really? Let me check. So I went yesterday.

It is called “Christkindlesmarkt" on several streets and big square, and also for children it is called “Kinderweihnacht".

It is a cute and free song.

Yesterday I heard it from my colleage’s auto and recalled something during this journey.

This song I heard at the first time was on Oktoberfest.

I was impressed with it.

It is famous with reason, that it is big enough and has a kind of super enjoyable and cheerful atmosphere.

Everyone is really in festive mood, even a little crazy. XD 

When this  song was sung, my family,May and I also danced together.

Because our neighbours were tooooooooo high.

Nikolaustag

Last Saturaday(6 Dec.) was Nikolaustag in Germany.
People don’t have free in this day, but for children this day such as X’mas.
Because children can get gift on this day, but gifts less than X’mas.
First, children will clean their shoes and then put them in front of the door.
Children will find their shoes full of gifts after the day.
In hort we always celebrate all holidays for children.
So we tell children remember to put thier shoes on the stairs and then….as below photos
 

 

  

wonderful rest

Finally I can take  a good rest  on this weekend.(happy to tear)

After my crazy travelling November, even I enjoyed them but actually I felt tired.

I have to write a report to ICjA(my exchange organization).

I have too study my poor German because  I didn’t practice anymore since my German course ended.

I also have many things to think, organize and plan.

But NOT at this time!!

I need to rest and recover my engine.

So this weekend I only stay at home, lay myself in the bed to watch TV, enjoy tea time, move slowly, day-dream about nothing…

BTW…

Because eating is still important, I baked a bread again in the afternoon. I added cheese this time. It smelled good and became more delicious with cheese. And then I baked potato. I almost ate in the whole day.
